As an add-on an international certification for professional supply chain managers is included in the specialization of the curriculum as well.

This program is designed for working professionals and allows you to balance work, family and the MBA program. This allows you to work while developing new business skills, knowledge and competencies.
It runs over 18 months and includes 45 class days. The modules take place in block form mostly from Thursday – Saturday all day. For the specialization, a stay of approximately 2 weeks in Pasadena, California, USA, is planned. Before and after the modules there will be online sessions for kick-off / briefing and reflection / de-briefing.
Didactics
All modules are divided into a preparation phase, the in-class time and a follow-up phase.
Individual preparation phase
The individual preparation phase for a module includes pre-readings, preparation of case studies, preparation of presentations, essays, etc.
In-class time
Courses use a variety of teaching and learning methods. These range from interactive case studies, simulations and calculations to classic presentations and also include discussions and group dynamic exercises as well as reflections.
The specialization takes place primarily in Pasadena, California (U.S.). Additional benefits include on-site Company Visits, Factory & Lab Tours as well as Guest Lectures and Case Study processing.
Individual follow-up phase
This is intended to consolidate or apply what has been learned. The follow-up phase includes the writing of term papers, reflection work or exams or working on case studies.
In your Master’s thesis, you will work independently on a problem by applying scientific methods in a topic area of your own choice. In most cases, it is a question with practical relevance to your own working environment.
