ResearchLin-X (AMIDS – Austrian Manufacturing Innovation Data Space): Development of two use cases for connecting the pilot factories and their partners via a Gaia-X-compliant data room
Quick facts
- Programme: Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG)
- Project number: FO999896200
- Start date: 1 January 2023

About the project
The Austrian Manufacturing Innovation Data Space (AMIDS) stems from the Lin-X projects (PilotLin-X and ResearchLin-X) and digitally connects the pilot factories of JKU Linz, TU Graz, and TU Wien to demonstrate the co-design and co-production of production parts via 2 use cases. By creating an open data space based on the concept of Gaia-X, AMIDS aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration between companies and research institutions, thereby enhancing Austria’s innovation and competitiveness in the industry.
