About the project
Additive manufacturing (AM) holds many benefits – offering flexibility, reducing CO2 emissions and saving resources. With ORGANIC, AM will offer even more: 3D printing with biobased materials in a self-configurating, self-monitoring, self-optimising and self-healing system.
ORGANIC aims to lead the biological transformation of additive manufacturing by integrating bio-inspiration, bio-intelligence and bio-based materials into Fused Granulate Fabrication. Through a unique combination of advanced bio-intelligent technologies like AI-driven cognitive and evolutionary control systems, ORGANIC enables the right right-first-time fabrication of complex bio-based components, enhancing the adaptability, efficiency and sustainability of manufacturing technologies.
