Content of the Online Seminar: Blockchain Basics
This first introduction session to “Blockchain in Industry 4.0” covers the technical basics of blockchain technology. Using Bitcoin as an example, cryptographic components, data structures, P2P-networks and consensus mechanisms are explained. This forms the basis for discussing other protocol types like permissioned blockchains. The session also gives an overview of important use cases in various fields such as supply chains, energy systems or financial services.
