This online seminar is the Introduction Seminar to the Certificate Programme: Blockchain in Industry 4.0 and covers the technical basics of blockchain technology. Using Bitcoin as an example, we will explain cryptographic components, data structures, P2P-networks and consensus mechanisms. This forms the basis for discussing other protocol types like permissioned blockchains. This session also gives an overview of important use cases in various fields such as supply chains, energy systems or financial services.
Once you finish this online Introduction Seminar, you can upgrade to the full Certificate Programme: Blockchain in Industry 4.0 with additional online sessions and a two-day Classroom Training in Ljubljana, Slovenia, free of charge. Upon completion of all Online Sessions and the Classroom Training, you will be eligible to receive the Certificate: Blockchain in Manufacturing – Extended Programme.
